The acquisition will cover all of ZeniMax Media’s global R&D and publishing teams, totaling approximately 2,300 employees, including Bethesda Softworks, Bethesda Game Studios, id Software, ZeniMax Online Studios, Arkane, MachineGames, Tango Gameworks, Alpha Dog and Roundhouse Studios. Game works include “The Elder Scrolls”, “Remaining Dust”, “Doom”, “German Headquarters”, “Thor’s Hammer”, “Injustice and Murder”, etc.
ZeniMax Media was founded in 1999 by President Robert A. Altman, and after the merger with Microsoft, the architecture and related leadership cadres like Bethesda will remain unchanged.
