Apple held a new product launch event in the fall at 1 a.m. today. As expected, the iPhone 12 did not make its debut at the September launch event. Instead, new iPad and Apple Watch product lines were unveiled. As new Apple products are launched one after another, the relevant supply chain is expected to become a topic this week. Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley (Da Mo) and other foreign investors have released reports, noting that Hon Hai, ASE, TSMC, Realtek and Universal electronics and other industries are expected to benefit.

New Apple products released this time focus on the Apple Watch and iPad, including the Apple Watch Series 6, the affordable version of the Apple Watch SE, and the new iPad Air and the 8th-generation iPad. It also includes two subscription services, Apple Fitness + and Apple One.

It has always been considered that a new Apple product launch will boost supply chain related operations, and shortly after the new product launch, Goldman Sachs issued its acceptance for Taiwan supply chains such as Xinxing, TSMC, Yageo , Wenmao, ASE, Realtek and Nanya Circuits. For Chinese companies, such as Luxshare, OFILM, BOE, etc., Goldman Sachs also gave a buy rating.

As for Morgan Stanley, it gives an overweight rating to USI (Watch SiP), Hon Hai (iPad / Watch assembly), Luxshare (Watch SiP / Assembly) and Spectrum (iPad Tco); Credit Suisse also agrees with the new models. Apple Watch is expected to have a positive impact on Luxshare’s operations and benefit USI. The new iPad is expected to power assembly plants like Luxshare, BYD and Lens.

Additionally, for new Apple products, Morgan Stanley noted that the product launch may be the prelude to a comprehensive upgrade to Apple’s core product line before the end of the year. The iPhone 12 and other peripheral products may launch in October. What’s interesting is that at this conference, Apple released a cheaper version of the Apple Watch SE, hoping to expand the user base at a lower price. Although this is the case, the consumer response is worth noting; because historical data shows that the Apple Watch consumer group It is easier to be attracted to the new features related to health care, so the Apple Watch 5 is better than the previous generation in sales.

However, Credit Suisse takes a different view, believing that the Apple Watch SE has more health features and a more attractive price than previous products, so you may see an increase in sales of Apple’s new smartwatches.
