The arrest of 12 Hong Kongers suspected of eloping to Taiwan has sparked a conversation between the United States and China. US State Department spokesman Morgan Ortagus said on the 12th that “legal governments do not need to surround them (the citizens) and prevent their citizens from leaving.” In response, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hua Chunying on the 13th also replied that “These 12 people were arrested for illegally crossing the border at sea. They tried to separate Hong Kong from China.” However, Hua Chunying’s comments were also ridiculed by netizens: “They want to go to Taiwan is to divide China, Hua Chunying Do you want Taiwan to be independent?”

US State Department spokesman Ortagus tweeted a PO post on Twitter on the 12th, noting that the legitimate government does not need to surround them (citizens) and prevent their citizens from leaving. The arrest of 12 pro-democracy activists in Hong Kong is another example of the deterioration of the human rights situation in Hong Kong. Guangdong local authorities must ensure compliance with legal procedures. In response to Ortagus’ statement, Hua Chunying also responded on Twitter on the 13th. In fact, these 12 people were arrested for illegally crossing the border at sea. They are not democratic activists, but an attempt to separate Hong Kong from China.

However, some netizens also pointed out that why would Hong Kong people “divide China” if they wanted to go to Taiwan? According to Hua Chunying, the CCP recognizes Taiwan as a foreign country. In that case, why is the CCP opposing Taiwan independence all day long? “Or to go to Taiwan is to divide China. Does Hua Chunying want Taiwan independence?”

In addition to Hua Chunying’s embarrassment in his speech, Chinese spokesmen have been involved in frequent incidents recently. Recently, it was reported that China’s war wolf diplomacy has turned into a pervert.

After the “Japanese actress” broke out, the official Twitter account of the Chinese Communist Party Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Zhao Lijian was found to be following pornographic websites and European AV actresses. After the incident came to light, Zhao Lijian canceled her attention to these porn accounts on Twitter.

Last Wednesday, the Chinese Communist Party’s ambassador to the UK, Liu Xiaoming, also liked pornographic videos, which was ridiculed by British lawmakers. The embassy at the time suggested that it was the work of a hacker. The Twitter that pleaded guilty to the “Wuhan virus” has drawn attention again.
