The singer made an important correction to what he suggests about Drake on the new 21 Savage Track, “Mr. Now” … where he says, “Yeah, he said he wanted to f ** k some SZA, wait / ‘because I date SZA in ’08 . “
The SZA would probably be 17 at the time after people noticed, if Drake’s timeline of their dating history is accurate … he took to Twitter to clarify.
SZA tweeted that they actually dated in 2009 and explained … “I think he waits for the innocently rhythmic 08 w. Anyone who really knows me and was around during this time can confirm.”
He added, “I don’t want anyone to think anything minor or creepy. Absolutely innocent. Lifetime.
It’s interesting, as fans followed SZ Drake on Instagram immediately after he left “Mr Right Now” … suggesting she’s not happy about his song.
2 has been close for years though, and it looks like SZA is cool by all means now. As she says to herself … “It’s all love and peace.”
