Syngin’s brother, Dylan, fell on his knees, and only a few days later he was in the intensive care unit with a blood clot in his lung. Syngin knows he needs to be home, and he chooses to return to South Africa to see his brother.
When Syngin finally returns home, his mother, Charmain, and sister, Charys, are there to greet her. Syngin seriously could not be happier if he tried, and he tells producers that it is “almost” as he wishes he would never leave.

Syngin and Tania make the drive to see Dylan, who is recovering at home. When they get there, Syngin gives his brother a big hug, and it’s clear they miss each other. Dylan tells his brother that the blood clot was the worst he has ever experienced.
During the visit, Syngin takes the time to tell his brother about his time in the United States with Tania. “America for me has been a very crazy experience,” says Syngin Dylan. ‘When I left here at the airport that day, I was like, not even sure’ Shall I get married? What will happen? ‘And I went there, did it, stayed longer. But I know it’s not all sunshine and roses, you know? There’s a lot of s *** happening, a lot of stuff you have to pay for. ”
Dylan asks if Syngin has made friends, and he says he has not yet “connected” with a friend. Syngin also says: “There is a lot going on. It is not the perfect life at all.”
Tania tells producers that Syngin has been complaining about America since he’s been here. It’s clearly a painful subject, and she says it’s “about her.
