Sylvester Stallone Re-releasing “Rocky IV” with a fresh set of eyes – no less, in its own pure vision – but one thing that won’t come in the new version … Paulie’s Iconic Maid Robot.
Sly announced this on Instagram on Sunday and said that he would cut the director of the classic film of the ’80s cult … in which his character will fight to avenge the death of Ivan Drago’s Apollo cult in Russia. Oh, and that’s also a big spoiler warning BTW … sorry !!!
Wait for your approval to load Instagram media.
Stallone writes, “Rocky 4 is cutting new directors by me for the 35th anniversary. So far it looks great. Soulful .. Thanks MGM for this opportunity to entertain.”
Fans flooded his comments to show his excitement, but also his curiosity. People wondering if it would add new scenes, tear down old ones … and perhaps further support the relationship between Rookie’s right-handed Paulie and her AI love interest flick, SICO … which is widely panned, but also time consuming. Respected going.
Well, don’t plan to see that robot in Slyna’s cut … ‘because the guy says he’s completely pulling her out of the conspiracy. In fact, it seems that he does not like Seiko at all.
Sly answered some fans’ questions about the fans, and she says, “The robot is going to the junkyard forever. No more robots,” while adding another fan, “I don’t like robots anymore.” So, yeah … it looks like Stallone will get rid of that sub-sublot, which was campy anyway.
The interesting thing about that robot is that it actually played a role in Sly’s real life … with her own baby, no less. The real designer of the robot, Robert Durnick, Said Sly recently caught the wind of the 2016 robot (before production began on “Rocky IV”) and hit him and his team, wondering if he could help the autistic son Sirgeh.
According to Durnick, they gave the Stallone family a loan on a robot … and, presumably, it was a big hit with the baby. So, in favor of her boy, Sly wrote the thriller for the role. He also cast his second son, Age, As Rocky’s son in Flick.
We’re sure Stallone appreciates everything SICO does, but hey … that’s not crucial to the story. No harm, no wrongs … do we think?
