Zlatan cheers after the goal against Roma.

One minute and 46 seconds.

That was all it took Zlatan Ibrahimovic to break the deadlock.

Already in the second minute of the game, 39-year-old Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored 1-0 at home against Roma. Rafael Leão’s tackle found the Swede who stretched his leg and passed the ball over goalkeeper Antonio Mirante, and let it rebound.

Ibrahimovic has already scored five goals in three Serie A games, and shares the lead in the shooting league with Inter’s Romelu Lukaku, Torino’s Andrea Belotti and Sassuolo’s Francesco Caputo.

After just a quarter of a game, Roma tied. Edin Dzeko put the ball at the feet of his teammate after a corner kick, but Ciprian Tatarusanu could not finish.

Then Milan also got off to a dream start in the second half. One minute and 41 seconds after the referee blew the whistle, Anton Saelemaekers gave it 2-1 to the red and black stripes. Again, it was Leão who assisted with the goal.

Milan have started the league season with four wins out of four possible.

Milan-Rome in progress.
