On Wednesday night, a man in his 25s was stabbed at Fältvägen in Näsby. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The police launched a large search operation, with a police helicopter, several cars and a dog. Then they could arrest two women, between 20 and 25 years old.
On Sunday they were arrested. They both deny the crime, but admit that they have been at the scene.
– Both are in custody for probable cause and the process will not begin before November 20. The motivation is that there is a risk that they will talk to each other if they are released, says Anna Johansson, an investigating attorney at Kristianstadsbladet.
Unknown reason
It has already been confirmed that the three people involved already know each other, writes Kristianstadsbladet. At present, however, the prosecutor chooses not to date what the motive should be for Wednesday’s assassination attempt.
