Seven people were taken to hospital for suspected carbon monoxide poisoning after a party in the St. Hanshaugen district.
The condition is critical for five of them, writes the VG newspaper.
– Seven young men were found unconscious by a patrol at 03.46 after a party in a bunker, says operations manager André Kråkenes in the Oslo police district to the NTB news agency.
He says the condition is severe to critical for several of them.
According to the police, the youths illegally entered the bunker, which was locked. It is estimated that between 30 and 80 people celebrated in the hall during the night.
Kråkenes says a police patrol came across several confused youths in the area and later found all seven who were unconscious.
An ambulance and a rescue service were called to the scene and life-saving efforts began, before the youths were taken to hospital.
It is not clear how the youths were poisoned, but the police theory is that the carbon monoxide came from a unit that was used as a power source during the party.
Police have no suspects in the incident.
