Woman killed after Gustavsberg shooting

The 21-year-old woman who was shot in a house in Gustavsberg died.

A 24-year-old man was previously suspected in the case which is now classified as murder.

On Saturday night, a 21-year-old woman was found shot in the head in an apartment in Gustavsberg. The woman was taken with fatal injuries to the hospital by ambulance helicopter.

On Monday, she was still being treated at the hospital, anesthetized with life-threatening injuries. But his life could not be saved.

The woman died in hospital on Wednesday, southern Stockholm police confirmed. Family members are informed.

In connection with his injured find, a 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. The man has now been arrested and the investigation against him continues.

– The case is in an early stage and there are a lot of investigative measures to be implemented, says Anna Westberg.

– The suspect must be heard and a technical investigation is underway.
