The police were alerted at 24:01. Later, a woman said she had been assaulted in Johanneshov, south of Stockholm.
– She is a woman who claims that she was attacked, raped and robbed by three unknown men in the open air on her way home, and with that we have to work, says Carina Skagerlind, press spokesperson for the Stockholm Police.
They are still searching the crime scene with a dog and have yet to conduct any technical investigation. Police continue to work to secure other leads and get through surveillance cameras.
The woman was taken to the hospital
The police have now launched a preliminary investigation into aggravated rape and aggravated robbery, and the woman has been taken to hospital for treatment.
The men are said to have beat the woman and stole her belongings, including a mobile phone.
– She’s hurt, she’s been kicked. I don’t know if he’s still in the hospital, but he had to go to the hospital last night. I don’t know if we’ve heard from the woman yet, says Carina Skagerlind, a press spokeswoman for the Stockholm Police.
No one is arrested.
