The findings at the crime scene have strengthened suspicions of Wilma’s boyfriend, 17. According to prosecutor Jim Westerberg to Aftonbladet.
At the same time, Wilma’s relatives are asking for help. They have not given up hope of finding it.
– I ask people to be observant in the forest and on the land and even now that the fishing season begins. If you see something different, says Linda Andersson, Wilma’s mother.
Wilma Andersson, 17, went missing on November 14, 2019. Police quickly suspected that she had been charged with a crime. A week later, Wilma’s boyfriend, 22, is suspected of murder.
On November 28, the hope of finding Wilma, 17, is extinguished. Then there is a part of the body that belongs to Wilma. The police find that the find is of such a nature that it cannot be alive.
After that, the police found no trace of Wilma’s body.
For Wilma’s relatives, the nightmare has continued. The great pain is mixed with the anxiety that it has not yet been found.

“Do not give up”
Therefore, Wilma’s mother is now asking the public for help.
– We want to find our daughter and sister. It is completely inhumane from what we went through, so please don’t stop looking for Wilma, says Linda Andersson, mother.
She hopes that the spring heat and brighter days can help find Wilma. Now that there are more people in nature.
– I hope people are attentive if they see something aberrant in the water or the ground. Let people have their eyes open. Especially when the fishing season begins. You mustn’t give up on finding Wilma.
For the legal case, it may be crucial that the body be found.
Prosecutor Jim Westerberg is currently grappling with the fact that it can now be difficult to determine a definitive cause of death. She still has good hopes that the 22-year-old boyfriend will be convicted of murder.
– Suspicions have been strengthened. Through the findings that came in and out, suspicions against him have been strengthened, says Jim Westerberg.

The investigation is almost complete.
Police believe Wilma was killed in the couple’s shared apartment. There, traces of blood have been found and some other finds have been made.
– The footprints at the crime scene and the path from there give a very good picture of what happened, says Jim Westerberg.
An interesting finding of hair at the crime scene has yet to be clearly analyzed. According to Jim Westerberg, the National Forensic Center, NFC, has had trouble determining where the hair comes from.
Otherwise, the investigation is largely complete.
– We have about 95 percent ready. We have a plan for the days of prosecution and negotiation.

Great search for Wilma disappeared in late November.
Boyfriend arrested
Expect to process in early May. Either the first or possibly the second week of May.
How do you see the possibility of the suspect being convicted of murder? Even though you haven’t found your whole body?
– You have to look at all the tracks. There is a significant burden of explanation for the suspect, says Jim Westerberg, and continues:
– There are several cases of this type in practice.
The 22-year-old suspect has been detained since November.
He has always denied the accusation, and every time the prosecutor has asked for an extended processing time, the man has opposed it. Which means that the court has held several detention negotiations.
“He denies it has anything to do with his death,” says Beatrice Rämsell, a defense attorney.
How do you explain the signs of crime found in your apartment?
– I can’t comment on that. I mean the prohibition of prohibiting.
