In November of last year, Wilma Andersson, 17, disappeared without a trace of Uddevalla.
A major search operation was launched involving the entire city and the country. After a few days, suspicions turned to Wilma’s exhibition boyfriend, Tishko Ahmed, 23.
In her apartment, the police found traces of Wilma Andersson’s blood and also, it turned out, her head on a suitcase in a closet.
Tishko Ahmed was sentenced in district court to life imprisonment for Wilma’s murder. Ahmed denies any wrongdoing and the Court of Appeal will rule tomorrow Friday.
“It’s hard to have to see it”
Wilma’s mother, Linda Andersson, was present in the courtroom, also during the Court of Appeals hearing.
– It was terribly hard having to look at him after what has turned out as it has. That he lived with our daughter, sister and was so cold… I don’t understand that, says Linda Andersson in tonight’s “Wanted.”
Wilma Andersson’s body has not yet been found.
Last week, the family held a memorial service for Wilma at Herrestad Church in Uddevalla, and the week before the Court of Appeal negotiations began, the family held a quiet funeral.
– I was expecting an answer (from Tishko Ahmed’s editor’s note). Where the rest of Wilma is somewhere. But I didn’t understand that. Sometimes I think we never get an answer, without that we have to find ourselves, Linda Andersson tells “Wanted.”
Don’t lose hope
Almost a year has passed since Wilma Andersson was murdered. The family continues to search for her together with the NGOs.
– The heart begins to beat strongly and it just trembles, so every time you see something that does not belong to nature and there is a possibility. I think if I found Wilma or Wilma’s remains, they would collapse, Linda Andersson tells “Wanted.”
Linda Andersson says in “Wanted” that she will not abandon the application.
– I’ll never stop finding Wilma. As long as the legs carry, and they don’t do it every day, but when they do, I’ll keep going, Linda Andersson tells “Wanted.”
“Dear” broadcast on Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. on TV3 and Viafree.
