Will lead IFK Malmö to the elite: “Press now too”
IFK Malmö are on their way to bounce back in elite football. The team leads Division 2 Västra Götaland before the final round on Sunday.
– We have been tasked with trying to be the second clear in town, says coach Per Harrysson.
IFK Malmö coach Per Harrysson likes his team. “We certainly don’t have the most skilled players at all positions on our team. But as a team, we are happy and satisfied with what we have and we don’t want to trade them for anyone else,” he says.
The 53-year-old from Åhus knows well the balance of power of football in Malmö with the MFF as the undisputed number one for a long time. As a celeste player in the 80s, he was a goal observer in the youth team; the competition was murderous atop the A-team with players like Mats Magnusson, Lasse Larsson, Håkan Lindman and a young rising Martin Dahlin.
