Stockholm. After a period of silence, Loreen releases new music in Swedish where she wants to give a more naked and honest image of herself.

– I have been able to play with words in a completely new way and what I say becomes much more precise and accurate. And it’s not more difficult to write in Swedish, it flows like hell. Sometimes it creeps into a little Arabic, but it naturally follows when I present my background.

Stockholm. There are just over nine weeks until the premiere of the classic “Gasljus”, the cruel psychodrama that Ingrid Bergman made world famous. Helena af Sandeberg is busy shaping her character Bella.

– I myself have mentioned that type of destructiveness in relationships, I think many people have done it, it is difficult to call, she says.

Pingtou. A green blanket of forest stretches over what was once arable land and bare mountains. Here the villagers are used to cultivating their own land and growing corn, tobacco and rice. But in recent years, more and more people have had to switch to planting forests. In China’s one-party state, the peasants have no choice. If the directives say they must plant trees, they must.

Malmö. It wasn’t allowed to happen, but it happened anyway. The infection clinic in Malmö, built to withstand a pandemic, has been hit by a major corona outbreak. A large part of the staff has been infected and several have shown no symptoms. Now, healthy colleagues on the regular staff have had to cover for those who have become ill. Several of them have worked double shifts for many days in a row.

– Inside the isolation rooms, we use protective equipment. It is in social interaction in the workplace that we must be careful. When we stand and mix medicines or meet in the staff room, says nurse Hilda Furenäs.
