The teenagers have been wanted, arrested in their absence after the shooting in Frukällan, north of Borås, last Friday.

And now there has been an arrest, according to BT.

– I cannot comment on that, Peter Apelqvist, head of the preliminary investigation in service in the Borås police, tells the newspaper.

The victim, a 16-year-old boy, was shot in the chest, according to information to GT.

According to information from Aftonbladet, the 16-year-old was forced to undress at the time of the crime, before he was shot with a shotgun. He was later said to have jumped into the water near the promontory police identified as the crime scene and was later able to call for help at a nearby house.

– The victim has brought his own machine to a house where he calls and asks for help. So we are already on our way to the area, because we have received alarms from people who heard shots. In relation to the person living in the house who helps him, he also alerts us so we can find him, said Thomas Fuxborg, press spokesman for the police in the West Region, after the shooting.

Companions with the victim

The alleged perpetrators are the same age as the victim.

– There is no indication that they have left the country, they are quite young and we do not believe that they have left the country without staying away, prosecutor Ove Jäverfelt told GT on Monday.

The act is classified as attempted murder.

According to BT, the teens are residents of Borås.
