Great fun with people in Lisbon on Good Friday. However, it is a region in the north of Portugal that seems to be the most affected by the corona virus so far.
The coronavirus has spread to residential and nursing homes in Portugal.
A total of 504 coronary heart disease-related deaths have been recorded in the country, and every eighth death has occurred in various homes.
In Vila de Conde, in the north of Portugal, more than 100 people, both residents and staff, have tested positive for the same accommodation. There are people with different disabilities. Most of those infected with the home have not shown any symptoms, their boss tells Renascenca radio channel.
In a retirement home in Aveiro, also in the north, 27 people have shown symptoms and have been hospitalized. Last weekend, 15 elderly people who became ill at another residence in the same area died.
At the end of the month, the Portuguese government announced that all employees and possible ill people in various health centers would have the opportunity to undergo tests. Evidence distribution is ongoing.
