After two periods, Växjö had fired 25 shots on goal while home team Örebro had made twelve shots on goal.
Despite that, it was the home team that led 3-1, after Robin Salo gave Örebro a goal start to the match after just over three minutes of play.
Hardy Häman Aktell was able to cut just over a minute and a half in the third period and looked to create nerves across the team, but just two minutes later Emil Larsson made sure to restore Örebro’s two-goal lead.
And from there you could play home with three points in a controlled way.
After Robin Kovacs and Elias Ekström each scored a goal, the final score was 6-2, in a match where Växjö won the shots with 29-23.
