Several thieves attacked a delivery of valuable goods to an electrical goods store in Västberga, south of Stockholm, on Monday morning.

The robbery took place shortly before ten o’clock at night, when a lot of people were circulating. According to information from Expressen, the perpetrators, who were masked and numbered at least two, had automatic weapons. However, no shots were fired and no one was injured.

– Witnesses and plaintiffs say there have been weapons involved. So it is not clear whether they are sharp weapons or not, Stockholm police spokesman Mats Eriksson tells TT.

Police initially began hunting with, among other things, helicopters, but that effort was later reduced. No one has been arrested and police work continues in other ways, says Mats Eriksson.

– We have carried out many witness interrogations and tried to compile a general picture. There were a lot of people at that time, clients and staff and others.
