SKR and the employers’ organization Sobona decided on Wednesday evening to activate a crisis situation agreement in the Uppsala region, according to a Press release.
This means, among other things, that emergency overtime can be taken in addition to regular work hours, and that regular work hours are increased to 48 hours per week, Sobona writes in the press release.
The agreement also means that staff can be loaned more easily between different regions.
Tense mode
The Uppsala Region requested this Wednesday that the crisis situation agreement be activated for nurses and nursing assistants who work in intensive care and intermediate care at the University Hospital, due to the tense situation as a result of covid-19.
The decision to activate the agreement was later made by the boards of SKR and Sobona.
Currently, five different regions of the country have activated a crisis agreement. It is the Västra Götaland region, as well as the Stockholm, Gävleborg, Skåne and Uppsala regions.
