Upplands Väsby: Police operation in progress – heavy knock alarm

It was Monday night at 6.30pm that police received several calls from residents in a residential area in Upplands Väsby who heard loud pounding.

Images from the site show heavily armed picket officers taking part in the operation. Dog patrols are also involved in finding the cause of the residents’ alarms, according to Åsa Wallentin.

– We have also heard from several people who have been in the area but have not found anything yet, he says.

According to information from Expressen on the ground, the police enter and investigate various addresses.

Also Sunday night, police received an alarm about an alleged shooting. The crime scene could be found quickly, but no person was injured.

A moment later, however, a man wounded by a gunshot was found in the neighboring municipality of Sollentuna, where the man had received help to leave the scene of the crime.
