Victor Nilsson Lindelöf was present from the start and made his 150th match in a Manchester United jersey when they faced Leicester in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

But there was no great celebration for the Swede, who is now eliminated from the FA Cup.

Leicester got off to a dream start when Kelechi Iheanacho intercepted a loose pass, circled the goalkeeper and rolled 1-0.

Walked away

United came back and tied just before the halftime break after Mason Greenwood finished directly off the entry of Paul Pogba, but Leicester walked away.

In the second half, they regained the lead after Belgian Youri Tielemans came out on a solo foray and finished off himself. Then Iheanacho secured the advance when he was able to head without scoring his second goal.

Leicester won the match 3-1 and reached their first FA Cup semi-final since 1982.

Chelsea is smoking

Chelsea continue to show good form with German coach Thomas Tuchel. The London side are in the semi-finals after defeating Sheffield United 2-0 and Tuchel’s lossless suite, with ten wins and twelve zeros in 14 games, is intact.

The lead came in the 24th minute after left-back Ben Chilwell fired a shot that guided Oliver Norwood into goal.

In extra time, substitute Hakim Ziyech was able to determine the final score by rolling 2-0.

The semi-finals were drawn at half-time between Leicester and Manchester United and it is now clear that there will be a great meeting between Chelsea and Manchester City.

Leicester gets an easier way, on paper, and faces Southampton.
