At 7:13 p.m., the police in downtown Nacka were alerted.
A woman had been subjected to an attempted robbery, where an assailant tried to steal her car and threatened her with a knife. According to witnesses, the robbery must have failed; instead, the man was seen fleeing the scene.
7:45 PM, just half an hour later, an alarm was heard that an almost identical event had occurred at Circle K in the Lake Hammarby town. There, too, a woman had been the target of an attempted robbery under threat.
The woman in Circle K was assaulted in connection with the refueling of a close relative’s car. The suspect arrived immediately when he opened the door. According to information from Expressen, he tried to cut the woman’s throat, but she managed to free herself.
Several people arrived and the man fled the scene.
– He lacked barriers, says an acquaintance to the victim.
– He has repulsive wounds on his hands from a knife, when he tried to protect himself. He has been very threatening with a knife and physically tried to get her out of the car. He was very aggressive in his actions, says police spokeswoman Carina Skagerlind.
In none of the cases were the women seriously injured physically. The author also failed to get a car with him in any of the robbery attempts.
May be the same perpetrator
According to Carina Skagerlind, it is not possible to say with certainty that events go hand in hand, but she states that it would be strange if they did not.
These are not ordinary events, and for it to happen half an hour apart on the south side of Stockholm, yes, it would have been very strange, she says.
They are now working to secure the leads and reviewing the surveillance videos that are available.
– You check, for example, if this person has traveled collectively between these places, but then it is important to have the best possible information.
The signal elements of the two different events do not match completely. On the other hand, says Carina Skagerlind, it is difficult to give information and it is not certain that two people always describe the same person in the same way.
