The alarm about the accident reached the police at 14:07. According to P4 Stockholm, the injured people must have been trapped in each of the vehicles when the rescue service arrived at the scene.
– There are two people who are seriously injured. One was taken to the hospital by ambulance and the other was taken to the hospital by ambulance helicopter, says Åsa Wallentin, a press spokesperson for the Stockholm Police.
– Both people were conscious when they were taken to the hospital, but I have no further information on the situation of their injury at this time, continues Wallentin.
The truck driver is suspected of a crime.

The Swedish Transport Administration’s forecast is that the road will reopen at 4.30pm. According to Wallentin, they are waiting for rescuers to arrive at the scene and remove the damaged vehicles.
