In a press release, police say the two men were arrested for reasonably suspecting the murder of Benjamin Azemi. It is the least degree of suspicion and suggests that the police are currently unable to associate them with the location and timing of Benjamin Azemi’s shooting.
On April 16, his mother Fevzije Azemi was on TV3 wanted. She received the death sentence while she and Benjamin’s sister were home and preparing for Benjamin’s wedding a few months later.
She told him about the pain after her son. Police also called witnesses to listen and wanted to contact witnesses who had seen a moped in connection with the murder of Benjamin Azemi.
Moped Wanted
Benjamin Azemi worked as a guard for the order. This afternoon he was sitting in a car in Kristianstad with some friends when a moped drove up to him.
– When the moped arrives, it probably comes from behind on the road, turns the car in front and comes this way, right next to the car that is standing here. He’s going to shoot very close to the passenger on the passenger side and that’s Benjamin, said police inspector Mats Dahlén in Efterlyst when he showed the scene in Kristianstad where the murder occurred.
If it is the witnesses who pointed out the moped and two people who used it, they do not appear in the police press release.
House Attorney Pernilla Tallinger can detain the two men for three days. If the suspicions are strengthened, they may be asked to be arrested.
