Two 25-year-old men have been arrested after a shooting in a residential area of Biskopsgården, Gothenburg. The offense is classified as attempted murder or attempted murder.
According to the police, a moped with two people appeared and fired several shots shortly after eight o’clock on Saturday night.
After intensive police work with helicopters and dog patrols, first one suspect could be arrested and then a second person as well.
– We have had several patrols in the area that have searched in different directions, says Sebastian Börjesson, officer on duty in the police overnight.
After midnight the police operation ended. Police technicians then investigated the probable crime scene and witnesses were questioned. A car has also been impounded.
There is no information that anyone was injured in the shooting.
