The two defendants, an 18-year-old and a 21-year-old, are suspected of having subjected two children to a “protracted criminal attack” at the cemetery, prosecutor Anders Tordai writes in a press release. The incident occurred on the night of August 23 of this year.

The two men have been detained since August 25 and 26, respectively.

– The investigation shows that the main purpose of the acts has been to recover money. From what has emerged in the investigation, there is no prior connection between the perpetrators and the plaintiffs, Anders Tordai says in the press release.

That was in august When a passerby found two injured and naked teenagers in a Solna cemetery. The boys, who are between 15 and 17 years old, were beaten for several hours and raped for most of the night. The boys were robbed too.

The two suspects have a long history of crime and juvenile delinquency behind them, despite their young age. One of them was convicted last year of breaking a school window when he was 15 years old in an attempted robbery. Already when he was twelve years old he was suspected of robbery and assault and later he was arrested according to LVU.

The other man, who is a few years older than his alleged accomplice, was awaiting a year and a half prison sentence for arson against a car company. He is now a suspect in another serious crime.

He has also been convicted of robbery, trafficking and drugs since he was 16 years old.
