The TV4 vigil runs the risk of being interrupted for Comhem customers.
Negotiations continued overtime after midnight.
Shortly after 2 a.m. last night, Comhem announced that they agree with TV4.
– I’m very happy. Negotiations are taking longer than expected and therefore it is good that we have established a framework that means we can negotiate clearly while viewers can continue to watch the channels, says Samuel Skott, Commercial Manager at Comhem.
Negotiations between TV and Internet provider Comhem and Telia-owned TV4 continue, but have generally agreed. The agreement was in its second temporary extension, which expired at midnight. But the channels were not turned off for Comhem customers and just over two hours later, Comhem sent out a press release.
There they write that they agree with TV4 on “a framework” for a new agreement to allow showing TV4, Sjuan, TV12 and C More.
– I am very happy that we have now agreed on the framework for a long-term agreement that benefits both parties. The negotiations are taking longer than expected and therefore it is good that we have established a framework that means that we can negotiate clearly while viewers can continue to watch the channels, says Samuel Skott, commercial manager of Comhem, in the statement of press.
