Trump’s secretary of state is “easy to like”

During the election campaign, Kayleigh McEnany has been as critical of Joe Biden as Donald Trump. For example, he has called Biden a “sleepy” and a “radical socialist.”

But she sounded different when she was interviewed by New York’s AM970 radio channel five years ago about who the candidates might be in the 2016 presidential election.

– I think Republicans will have problems if it’s Joe Biden and maybe Trump on the other side. One of the things Joe Biden excels at is being like a man of the people and clicking with middle-class voters, McEnany said.

“Joe Biden is fun and easy to like”

However, he believed it would be easier to defeat Biden in the election than Hillary Clinton, but not if Trump were the Republican candidate.

– If it’s Trump versus Joe, I think this contrast between the man of the people and the business mogul is a problem. That said, Donald Trump manages to be fantastic enough to appear like a man of the people, even though he’s a stone-rich businessman, McEnany said.

She made similar comments the same week on Fox Business.

– On the one hand, you have Joe Biden, who is fun and easy to like and relates to the middle class. You can really talk to the Central American. On the other hand, there is Hillary Clinton, who is cold and sad, McEnany said.

He criticized Hillary Clinton for being manipulative and almost inhuman.

“Joe Biden is a human being and people click with him,” McEnany said.

Now he has changed his mind about Biden due to his “personal corruption” according to The Hill:

“It is an empty container for the liberal elite and the extreme left,” McEnany told CNN.
