Politico saw a movie clip showing Trump’s comments during Tuesday’s Christmas party. Trump is said to have announced to his advisers several weeks ago that he is considering running in the next election, but Tuesday’s comments were for the first time that he brought up these plans outside of the president’s inner circle.

In the presidential election, Joe Biden secured 306 voters against Trump’s 232. 270 voters are needed to win the elections. On December 14, the Electoral College will meet to formally elect a president.

The next president is sworn in on January 20

Donald Trump has continued to claim that there has been widespread electoral fraud without presenting evidence of it.
