Donald Trump’s attorney, Rudy Giuliani, held a press conference in Washington on Thursday along with legal advisers Sidney Powell and Jenna Ellis. There they continued to speak about alleged evidence of electoral fraud during the US presidential elections.
Giuliani accused political opponents of the Democrats of being “villains” who committed extensive electoral fraud in several crucial states “to steal elections from the American people,” according to AFP.
“National conspiracy”
– It’s a national conspiracy. It took me a while to realize its scope, he says and continues:
– All Republican inspectors have been fired, tangible. Mail-in votes and early votes have been discarded, or counted twice, he says.
Trump’s legal adviser Sidney Powell told the audience that they will not be intimidated.
– We will not be intimidated, we will take this country back. We’ll clean up here, we’ll test it, he said.
Cancer: “More Dangerous”
Two days ago, Donald Trump decided to fire America’s cybersecurity chief Christopher Krebs. Following Giuliani’s press conference, Krebs wrote the following on Twitter:
“This press conference was the most dangerous 1 hour and 45 minutes on television in American history. And probably the craziest as well,” he writes.
At the same time, the Trump camp decided Thursday to drop a large lawsuit in Michigan that was aimed at preventing a bottom line from being achieved in the state’s most populous county, Wayne County, where the city of Detroit is located.
The Georgia state government is also expected to submit its ballot “review” shortly, which has led to more than five million ballots being reviewed and counted by hand. However, there is no indication that Joe Biden’s victory in the southern state is altered.
Neither Trump nor his campaign have yet been able to present any concrete evidence that some form of organized fraud has taken place.
