Trump supporter: “Socialist, stay with Cuba”
The word “socialism” makes many of them look red and declare their allegiance to President Trump. Others love the Democrats’ promises of social safety nets and support for workers. There is currently an intense tug of war on Cuban Americans, a small but influential group of voters who could be decisive in the US presidential election.
Domenic Sanfana, a Cuban-born retired New Jersey father, and Zonia San Martin, a Cuban-born Florida anesthesia nurse, support Democrat Joe Biden and Republican Donald Trump, respectively. Here they are arguing in front of one of Biden’s campaign rallies in Miami.
The screams are heard from several blocks away. It has not been known for a long time that Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden speaks in a gym under a highway in the Havana neighborhood of Miami, in Little Havana. However, supporters, protesters and the media are now reaching out in droves.
