Trump paid millions to his daughter – avoided taxes

The New York Times clearly reports how Donald Trump has avoided paying the tax that, according to the newspaper, he has to pay for the last fifteen years.

Since he took office, payments to his children have increased dramatically, from about $ 480,000 a year ($ 4.7 million) to about $ 2 million. And the event is mostly about payments to daughter Ivanka Trump.

Just under a million crowns must have been paid for a hairdresser and make-up artist for her.

But it’s Ivanka Trump’s consulting fees that stand out.

The sums match

She has been a director of many of her father’s companies and yet received huge sums of consulting fees.

When the daughter received the money, Donald Trump’s tax liability disappeared at the same time, the New York Times reports, describing it as tax planning. Consulting costs are not visible on tax returns.

For example, Ivanka Trump received $ 747,622, SEK 7.4 million, as payment from a company she owns together with Donald Trump. The sum matches the exact consulting fees paid by hotels in Vancouver and Hawaii, which are part of the Trump organization.

Ivanka Trump has thus received payments from the companies she runs. The lawyer for the Trump organization does not want to comment on the arrangement.

The event with Ivanka Trump as a consultant has been secret. Nowhere on her website, where she clearly explains what she does for the Trump organization, is her work as a consultant described.
