The union decided in January to investigate a possible exclusion following the president’s action when several of his supporters stormed the Capitol in Washington DC on January 6.
To avoid such a decision, the former president has left the organization, and he did so with a letter in the usual Trump style.
“I don’t want to be connected to your union anymore,” he writes and concludes with “You haven’t done anything for me.”
He praises his own efforts to create “thousands” of jobs for “Fake news CNN” and other cable TV channels and writes that SAG-AFTRAS ‘attempt to oust him is just an attempt to distract from the “lousy results. “of the union in working for its employees.
According to Variety, Donald Trump has been a member of the Actors Guild since 1989 and, among other things, has appeared as himself in such films as “Alone at Home 2 – Lost in New York” and “Zoolander.” In the entertainment world, he is most associated with the reality series “The Apprentice,” which he directed for 14 seasons.
