Donald Trump claims he has seen evidence that the new corona virus comes from a Chinese laboratory.
– We’ll know where it comes from. There are many theories, says the President of the United States.
During a questioning session with journalists at the White House on Thursday, the information was that the virus would come from a laboratory in China’s Wuhan province.
A journalist asked Donald Trump if he had seen any evidence that the Wuhan Virological Institute originated from the coronavirus, Independent writes.
– Yes, I do, says the president.

“I can’t tell you that”
Trump at the same time declined to describe the evidence.
– I can not tell you. I can not tell you.
Donald Trump emphasized that the United States government is making “a lot of effort” to investigate the matter.
The president’s statement runs counter to the findings of the US intelligence services on the matter.

Intelligence services refute
Earlier Thursday, the office of the country’s chief intelligence officer, DNI, stated that the virus originated in China, but that nothing at this time indicates that it originated in a laboratory.
“The intelligence services also agree with the broad scientific consensus that the covid-19 virus is neither man-made nor genetically modified,” a statement said.
The Wuhan State Laboratory has dismissed allegations and speculation that the virus was created or originated there.
Former CIA member Ned Price writes on Twitter that Trump only wants to “manipulate intelligence for political purposes.”
