The rescue service was alerted at 11:16 a.m. on Sunday after a truck got stuck in a viaduct. It will be a viaduct in Agnesbergsvägen that passes under the E45 in the north of Gothenburg.
– It has happened before, says Johan Eklund, alarm and control operator for the Greater Gothenburg rescue service.
Currently, no traffic can pass through the accident site. Emergency services have been alerted to the site to ensure that no more road users enter the viaduct.
– Nobody passes. The truck has wedged in a bit more and we are waiting for rescuers to help, says Johan Eklund.
Uninjured driver
Police are also on the scene at the time of the accident. The truck driver, a woman, has been searched but is unharmed and has been able to leave the scene on his own.
– She is not injured, says Thomas Fuxborg, press spokesman for the West Police Region.
Emergency services and an ambulance have left the scene while the police await rescue.
– When there is a salvage, it is cordoned off on site, says Thomas Fuxborg.
