The alarm occurred at 14:07 on Monday for an accident between a truck and a small bus on the provincial road 225 / Glasbergavägen in Södertälje.
According to the police, it is some kind of bus taxi that was involved in the accident with the truck.
– They take two people to the hospital. Both were conscious when they were taken to hospital, but the injury situation is unclear. One was taken by helicopter from an ambulance and another by regular ambulance, says Åsa Wallentin, a spokeswoman for the Stockholm police.
Isak Olsson, alarm operator at the Södertörn fire protection association, he says, however, that it is about three people.
– There are three people in the hospital. We heard this from our commander on the spot. At least one of them was trapped. One of the injured was airlifted by ambulance helicopter, he says.
The police have produced a report of causing bodily injury and negligence in traffic.
– The truck driver is currently a suspect, but no questioning has taken place yet, says Åsa Wallentin.
The road was closed during rescue work and, according to the Swedish Transport Administration, it is expected to reopen at 3:45 p.m.
