Shortly before 7 pm, the police were alerted to a youth home in Vänersborg. According to an SOS alarm, three younger men have exempted an 18-year-old from the children’s home.

– They arrived by taxi at the youth home, entered the home and threatened to shoot the staff. They also said they were carrying guns, says Stefan Gustafsson.

The three younger men and the newly released man flee the house, but in the meantime, the police have managed to reach the scene.

– They almost ran into the hands of the police. We arrested three people immediately and the fourth, the man who was released, was found squatting next to a reed not far away, says Stefan Gustafsson.

Illegal threats

The police classify the case as an illegal threat.

– The three young people are suspected of having committed a crime and the acquitted person can return to where he is supposed to be, says Stefan Gustafsson.

According to the police, there is a connection between the acquitted and the three perpetrators.

– These are not the most talented criminals I have encountered. They first took a taxi to the crime scene and then paid the driver with a snap, says Stefan Gustafsson.
