A pickup truck rolled over on Highway 92 in Bjurholm, Västerbotten.
Three people have been transferred to the hospital, one of them by ambulance helicopter.
This is a single accident. Other road users saw the truck, which was loaded with berries, began to sway across the road. Then the vehicle overturned and ended up face down in the ditch.
Eight people were sitting in the car. Three of them have been taken to hospital, according to Lars Kinnunen of the Nordmaling rescue service.
– One has been transferred by helicopter, the other two were taken by ambulance to the hospital.
Lars Kinnunen cannot say anything about the severity of the injuries to the people involved.
– All but one had gotten out of the vehicle, the last one we had to help, but the person was not trapped.
By 7pm, the emergency rescue work had turned into decontamination of the road.
– I hope the road is closed for another hour, says Lars Kinnunen.
