Denmark introduced stricter restrictions just over a month ago. Then it was, among other things, that restaurants, bars and even private parties would close at 22.
Now these restrictions are being extended, but new ones are also being added. To further minimize the spread of the infection, rules are tightened for foreign workers, such as Swedes working in Denmark.
– We are also tightening the rules for foreign workers to prevent the infection from reaching Denmark, from abroad to Danish workplaces, said Mette Frederiksen at a press conference on Friday night.
– We will also help the police to intensify border controls, continued Mette Frederiksen.
Stricter rules in Denmark
Among other things, the sale of alcohol will now be prohibited in stores after 10pm.
– To reduce infection, we are introducing restrictions that apply for the next three months. First, we reduce the number of people meeting from 50 to 10 people, said Mette Frederiksen.
The requirements for oral protection are introduced in public places and indoors in public places.
– These are supermarkets, shopping centers and cinemas, schools and health. These restrictions will run until January 2, Mette Frederiksen said.
