SOS was alerted to the accident at 6:45 PM on Saturday. One of the affected cars ended up in a field and the other on the side of the road.
– It’s a range collision. It is unclear whether the person who ended up on the field flipped or not. But one person remained in his vehicle after the accident, says Ola Nilsson.
At the beginning of the E22, the rescue service closed between the Lund södra junction and the Kronetorp junction heading south.
At 7:05 p.m., the rescue service announced that traffic was beginning to flow slowly as usual again.
– The ambulance has examined everyone involved and no one is being taken to the hospital, says Ola Nilsson.
The Swedish Transport Administration expects the accident to have a “major impact” on all traffic in the area until at least 8.30 pm.
Completely closed to the south
On Saturday, there was also an accident on the E4, just north of the Åstorp junction. These are two cars that collided on a southbound road at 6.17pm.
According to SOS, a total of five people have been involved in the accident. Three of them have been taken by ambulance to the hospital.
“The driver of one of the vehicles, a man in his 20s, is suspected of negligence in traffic,” the police write on their website.
