FHM wants to see more corona tests

270 million SEK, every week. This is what the state has to pay for the covid-19 tests that are currently being carried out throughout the country.

And despite the number of tests now approaching 200,000 a week, the Swedish Public Health Agency wants to see even more. There is no “ceiling”. Not yet, at least.

– Testing is an important part of the current strategy, unlike last spring, when that opportunity did not exist in the same way. The number of tests may increase even more, although I have a great understanding that the situation in the regions is very tense in some places, says Karin Tegmark Wisell.
