Kristianstad • Saturday 4:35 pm

At 16.08 the police were alerted by a noise at the intersection of Döbelnsgatan and Östra Vallgatan.

– It has been found that there has been some form of abuse. The ambulance is also in place and we are on site investigating the incident and discovering what happened, Katarina Rusin, a press officer at the police command center, said shortly after.

Police found three wounded men at the scene.

– Two of these had to be treated in hospitals and at least one of them received stab wounds or cuts due to some type of care. Several people are said to have left the place on foot, Katarina Rusin announces.

Several police patrols were on the scene and the police blocked an area 20 meters wide at the intersection. Inside the barricades was a car with a parked crane. There were traces of blood in the car and on the ground next to the car. At 18 o’clock the barriers were canceled.

Police conducted an investigation at the site, where, among other things, they searched and searched for footprints and door knocks in the area.

Police also went to the hospital to conduct interviews with the wounded.

No one had been arrested at 8pm on Saturday. But according to Kristianstad Police internal commander Caroline Eriksson, there are signaling elements and tasks to continue.

– We work on the case, hold hearings and carry out investigative measures, she says. We have a signal element and it is quite possible that it will go further into the hearings that are taking place.

The injured men are not strangers to each other and should have been basically in the same place when the police arrived to secure the area and find out what had happened.

– Target owners must be familiar with each other, says Eriksson.

Early Sunday morning, no one was arrested as a suspect.

Police are still looking for more witnesses to the incident. If you have seen or know anything about the event, call 114 14.
