In an article, Expo has been able to show how Thomas Olin, a Swedish Democratic politician in Mölndal who, among other things, sits as a member of the council and is a deputy on the municipal board, spreads posts on Twitter that can be described as violent romanticism and come from from Nazi sources and right-wing extremists.
The posts Olin spread come from, among others, Gustav Kasselstrand, leader of the Alternatives for Sweden party, Pär Sjögren, Nazi leader of the Nordic resistance movement and Thomas Möller, former president of the Hells Angels motorcycle gang.
Olin himself writes, among other things, that he fears a future America that will become South Africa. “1000 times worse“Where white business owners are dragged to the streets and executed if Joe Biden wins the presidential election.”We see the beginning of this already today when whites are beaten and killed without the media reacting.“Olin writes. In another post, he calls Biden” Insane Joe.
Posts glorifying violence
When GT checks Thomas Olin’s Twitter feed, we repeatedly find posts and videos that can be interpreted as a glorification of violence.
“I think we need to check the hunters’ magazines if we want to reduce crime.“He writes about a post about the police arrest of gang criminals during Operation Rimfrost. He shares a video of Thomas Möller where an alleged Afa supporter is knocked to the ground and Möller comments:”Wonderful that clip that you can watch multiple times and enjoy the same amount each time.“
Another video he shared shows a black man abusing a white woman. “Persons? Damn, doubtful …“Read the sender’s comment.
Expo claims in its article that Olin distributes material from sources and sites that Sweden’s own Democrats have distanced themselves from before, such as Free Times. Olin also distributes brochures from a site that Expo says has links to the Nordic Nazi resistance movement.
Olin has released a post by Katerina Janouch in which the people at SVT describe themselves as “sosse / mp-horor” as “can go to hell”.
GT has repeatedly asked Thomas Olin for a comment on Friday, partly by email and phone, but also through the Swedish Democrats’ press service. However, no luck.
In addition to being a council member and deputy member of the municipal board, Thomas Olin is a member of Mölndal Energi AB, Mölndal Parkerings AB, the Technical Committee and the Health and Care Committee. This according to the website of the city of Mölndal.
Will be investigated
Zandra Pettersson, a deputy to the party board and president of the Swedish Democrats’ district in Västra Götaland West, tells Expo that Olin will now be investigated.
– It is worrisome what the article shows and something that we must address. If you spread racism in our party, we will show where the door is.
He states that he will contact Thomas Olin and raise the matter at the party board and with the Mölndal president and district board, but stresses that “it is a democratic process that must be done.”
