A man in his 30s has suffered fatal injuries after a shooting in Malmö. The alarm went off shortly after 9:30 p.m. Thursday and police and an ambulance were dispatched to the Hyllie district. The wounded man was found there, and he was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
– We are working to identify the person, says police spokesman Rickard Lundqvist.
Otherwise, the police are silent about the incident, as the operation was still taking place late Thursday night.
Police have cordoned off the scene, questioning witnesses and searching for the perpetrators. A hunting dog is called in to assist in the search. No arrests have been made and no criminal classification has been established.
– But we are talking about the smallest assassination attempt, says Rickard Lundqvist.
