The musical aid is broadcast this year from Norrköping, but it is not yet known exactly where it comes from. Due to crown restrictions, this year’s structure is different, and Swedish radio is now looking for larger production facilities in the city.
But it’s clear who will host the show. Brita Zackari and Felix Sandman help veteran Farah Abadi carry out Music Aid this year.
– It’s just as irritating and nervous as the first time. Maybe even more so this year as we don’t really know what we’re getting into because of the crown, but somehow it’s good too. Something recurring and sure like Musikhjälpen, which keeps company, entertains and creates reflection, Farah Abadi says in a press release.
Guest played before
Both Brita Zackari and Felix Sandman have been guest stars in the cage before, but this is the duo’s hosting debut for the fundraising show.
In a press release, Brita Zackari says she is “incredibly angry and honored to have this assignment, especially one like this, when our need for community and togetherness is greater than ever.”
– The musical aid is the sure boat that every year returns the hope of humanity, with a lot of commitment that seems to bring together almost the entire country around the same goal, says Brita Zackari.
Musikhjälpen airs from December 14 to 20 and is a collaboration between SVT, Swedish Radio and Radiohjälpen. This year’s theme is “No one should be left without care.”
