TV4, together with SVT, has completed the broadcasting rights for the 2024 and 2028 European Soccer Championships.
The Swedes are quite used to it, half of the games on SVT and the other half on TV4. Shared broadcasts of the main men’s soccer championships continue. TV4 together with SVT have secured two new championships. The 2024 European Football Championship in Germany and the 2028 European Championship, which has no host nation yet.

Makes the Swedish people rally
Since the 2020 European Soccer Men’s Championship has been postponed to 2021, this means that TV4 will broadcast three European championships on the men’s side until 2028. One he hopes to comment on on the championships is Lasse Granqvist.
– Soccer championships over the years have created many unforgettable memories. We especially remember the 2004 championship with a 5-0 Swedish victory in the debut against Bulgaria, Zlatan’s magic heel against Italy and Greece’s unlikely gold in the European Championship. There are few things that make the Swedes come together and create a folk festival like when the national team plays a soccer championship. Must cooperate
In addition to the new guaranteed rights, TV4 will also broadcast the World Cup final in 2022. Furthermore, TV4 and C More have taken over the rights to the Champions League as of autumn 2021.
SVT and TV4 share the 2021 European Championship for men, the European Championship for women 2022, the European Championship for men 2024 and the European Championship for men 2028.
