Then one of Malmö’s most dangerous teenagers was arrested

An eighteen-year-old boy who has just been kidnapped trembles like a dream when he asks his father not to call the police.

He was ordered, under threat of a firearm, not to report the next two days.

Then the kidnappers, a 19-year-old man and two slightly younger men, waved a letter writing the victim’s address and took her away with her father’s car.

It’s the night of December 30, 2019. While the robbery victim is asking parents not to report the police, the 19-year-old kidnapper posts a mobile movie on Instagram.

“Catch Me If You Can”

There, the stolen car is displayed with the tones of the song “I’m so fly” by rapper Lloyd Banks. In general, the 19-year-old writes a poorly written greeting in English to his followers, which in Swedish means:

“Catch Me If You Can”.

On social media, his life is a rap video with fast cars and smart watches.

But behind one of Malmö’s most dangerous teenagers there is another reality.

Already at the age of one, the surroundings could see that it was violent. He fought and had very deviant aggressive behavior.

Today, the 19-year-old is one of thirty people covered by the Malmö police “stop shooting” project.

They are called to meetings with a call to drop their weapons, otherwise the police promise a very harsh hold. Only a few have ignored it.

One of them is 19 years old.

Shooting suspect: two years close to meet

He was only sixteen when he, along with other perpetrators, humiliated an eighteen-year-old boy whom he met in a schoolyard, for an imaginary debt, about which Sydsvenskan wrote.

In the brutal robbery, he pointed a carbon dioxide pistol and hit the two-year-old boy on the head, filmed and broadcast on social media.

Finally, the victim fled with the robbers behind him and was saved by throwing himself into the dark waters of the Malmö Canal. He remained there for ten minutes without being able to touch bottom, until the fire brigade saved him.

That same year, the 19-year-old girl, who was sixteen, abused her pregnant girlfriend, threatening to “kill and fuck” her relatives and “put a knife to her stomach.”

In the incident report, the police used capital letters to clarify that he is “VERY labile and capable of committing violent crimes

Last year, the 19-year-old was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in the shooting at a pizzeria in Värnhem where a sixteen-year-old boy was injured and a two-year-old boy was about to be hit by bullets. He was not convicted of the act.

Instead, he was later convicted of driving a car with a cocktail of tramadol, clonazepam, and cocaine.

Today, the 19-year-old is a veteran in Malmo criminal circles.

On the night of December 30, he tries to move into an apartment where two girls live pretending to be a police officer, then tries to open the door and finally threaten the girls with a gun in a Snapchat message.

Threaten me again, little bitch“Says the 19-year-old, waving a gun when the girls tell them to call the police.

He does this together with two criminal friends, one of whom has had a relationship with one of the girls.

A few hours later, the gang kidnaps an 18-year-old, steals the car he is driving in, and threatens to kill him and his family if he makes a police report. They tell him to blame the act on three black men.

The victim is shocked when she calls her father and asks him not to contact the police.

It seems that the 19-year-old and his friends can continue their tour of violence.

Tracked the car by GPS

But having the girls and father of the kidnapped victim call the police despite threats, should lead to a change in history.

A GPS in the stolen car allows police to track the vehicle, the 19-year-old, and the other perpetrators.

A patrol drives there and finds the teens trying to sign the car.

When arrested, the 19-year-old threatens to kill the police children.

He also threatens staff in the arrest in Malmö.

He looked at each one when he said he would look for us. It was completely black in the look“Says one of the men threatened in the preliminary investigation.

This is the only situation that stands out while working here. He feels capable of doing what he says and I go home late at night, so it seems

During the investigation, a prosecutor is also threatened by criminal teens.

But neither the threatened girls, the father of the eighteen-year-old kidnapped, nor the police nor the prosecutor can be silently intimidated.

The District Court sentenced the 19-year-old to three years in prison for, among other things, human rights violations. The other authors are also sentenced to prison terms.

The police called when he was ten years old.

When the 19-year-old was ten years old, the police called his parents and told him that he was dealing with criminals at the age of eighteen, which today was considered human trafficking.

Suddenly, she could disappear from her home without her mother knowing where.

Today, the mother feels guilt for the suffering of the 19-year-old. She says she needs help that she cannot offer.

– We noticed from the beginning that he could not control his impulses. I went to courses to understand their behavior. He has lived half his life in an institution and we have wasted valuable time together. Every time he went out it got worse instead of better, says the mother with a cry in her voice on the phone.

Police found an AK47 replica and found a protective vest with the 19-year-old’s mother.

The mother is careful not to blame other people or authorities for the problems.

But she reiterates that the 19-year-old needs attention.

– We can’t force him into anything. When you have routines, times to adjust, studies or work to do, then everything is fine.

– When you leave the institutions, you want to be home first. So you feel insecure among people. He is usually calm at first. But soon he starts spending time with criminals again and with others he has met in special schools, and then everything goes back to normal.

Mom: “Otherwise this will continue”

She is a sad mother who talks about the nightmare that does not seem to end.

She has a police report to which she has been subjected since her son was sentenced to prison. But what weighs on her is her son’s education, how she has changed between the childhood home and the institutions.

– The older criminals took advantage of their problems. Money, parties, they sent it for criminal reasons. But as a mother, I didn’t see it. How he started taking drugs to calm his problems.

When asked what the son needs to get out of the destructive life that has hitherto hurt so many people in society, she replies:

– Routines, rules, supervision, eating, sleeping. Governing staff. Otherwise, this will continue. It’s like I’m living in a gangster movie. I cannot be your guardian.

Then he is silent for a while.

– I feel concern and sorrow for their good and for the victims. Why does everything have to continue without real help? What is needed? That he kills someone or that they kill him is my great fear.
