The next week starts with classic fall weather. SMHI has issued several warnings.
– Expect it to be windy, especially on Monday, says Moa Hallberg, meteorologist at SMHI.
Low pressure is on the other side of the Atlantic and affects the climate in Sweden. On Monday, it will be very windy in the country, mainly in north-west Götaland and south-west Svealand. Towards night, there will be strong gusts of wind on the coasts of Norrbotten and Västerbotten. A lot of rain is also expected.
– In Norrland, it looks like it will rain a little more, says Moa Hallberg.
SMHI has issued a class 1 warning for parts of Västra Götaland on very strong wind gusts. There is also a class 1 warning for very strong wind gusts in Örebro County.
Already on Sunday night it will be very windy in the mountains of northern Lapland. SMHI has issued a Class 1 warning for high winds in combination with snow or wet snow.
On Sunday, there is also some wind in the waters around Sweden and there are a series of class 1 warnings for gales.
