The United States now has more covid deaths per capita than Sweden, according to the Johns Hopkins University in the United States.
According to the latest statistics, the United States has 57.39 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants, while Sweden has 57.30 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants.
In the first place (after the state ministry of San Marino in Italy) Peru is the nation with the highest number of deaths from covid per capita. That number is 91.92 per 100,000 residents, according to Johns Hopkins University.
Belgium, Spain, the United Kingdom, Brazil and Italy continue to rank high on that list.
The United States also tops the list for the highest number of deaths. Since the outbreak of the pandemic, more than 186,000 infected people have died in the United States. After the United States, Brazil and India are the most affected by the death toll.
In early August, America’s leading infection control expert, Anthony Fauci, warned of development during the fall. He noted that the spread of the infection is still “the first wave.”
– We are in the middle of the first wave. This situation is the result of several states opening up too quickly, said Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, in early August.
